“Castelijns werkt altijd vanuit het onderbewustzijn, intuïtieve beelden vinden hun weg door het doolhof van de psyche, wanneer zij aan de oppervlakte komen worden ze langzaam uitgewerkt en laag voor laag verrijkt met symbolen die de diepere betekenissen ervan illustreren. Uiteindelijk komt alles samen in een fotowerk op groot formaat dat tot in de puntjes toe zorgvuldig is geënsceneerd en uitgewerkt."
