Eric de Nie (1944)

Autonoom Abstract werk: olieverf en acrylverf schilderijen,tekeningen, aquarellen, grafische technieken.
Werk in opdracht: schilderijen, grafiek en mogelijk tapijt. Live-painting performance tijdens concert van hedendaagse gecomponeerde muziek ( o.a. Morton Feldman, Simenon ten Holt)
Omschrijving belangrijkste techniek: dunne vloeiende verf mbv.fijne spuitflacons of penselen aangebracht langs de bovenrand van het doek of papier. Tijdens dit werkproces waarin kleurige lijnen in verschillende snelheden en diktes naar beneden vloeien en het werkvlak afwisselend zijdelings wordt gekanteld ontstaan rasters of verticale of horizontale lineaire composities. Sinds 2009 worden de gedropen lijnen soms ook gecombineerd met brede kwaststroken.
