Take your first step to become a professional artist and sign up on our website ArtOlive. This will increase the opportunity for your graduation piece to serve as the press image of Art Olive Jong Talent 2012!
Art Olive Jong Talent 2012is an initiative of ArtOlive. During this event the most promising graduates of the Dutch art academies will showcase their talent to a wide audience. This year the event will take place in October, at Loods 6 in Amsterdam. Prior to this exhibition renowned art critics shall visit your academy to scout for the most promising young talents. This visit will only take place during the graduation exhibitions! On the opening night one of the exhibitors will also receive the Art Olive Award. The winner of this award will be selected by a professional jury.
As a graduate you are not obliged to register yourself on www.artolive.nl. The scouting of art critics is independent of your application. Therefore every graduate can be chosen! It is however advisable to register for three reasons. One, as a beginning artists your will take part of the largest online gallery of the Netherlands. Two, increase the opportunity for your final project to serve as the press image of Art Olive Jong Talent 2012. Three, if you are selected for this event you still have to register on the website.

How to apply for ArtOlive Jong Talent 2011?
Step 1:
Click here to go to www.artolive.nl in a new tab/window. At the top, move to 'voor kunstenaars' (for artists) and click 'aanmelden' (apply)
Step 2:
At the left side of the screen, enter your emailaddress and a password and click 'registreer mij nu!' (register now)
NB: there is some (Dutch) information about the activation of your account after we have seen your CV and photo's of your work and we received the annual fee. If you apply for ArtOlive Jong Talent, you can ignore this information: you'll be accepted without these steps.
Step 3:
The green row indicates you succesfully created your account!
Step 4:
You can log in to the website of ArtOlive, by clicking 'inloggen' at the top and entering your emailaddress and password.
Step 5:
Since both artists and artbuyers can register on our website, it is important to notify the site you are an artist. Move again to 'voor kunstenaars' and click 'aanmelden' (apply) again, like in step 1. You'll enter a screen where you can enter all your contact information.
IMPORTANT: in order for us to see who is applying for ArtOlive Jong Talent, make the first line of 'beschrijving' (general information) "Jong Talent 2012", followed by the name and location of your academy.
When you are done, go to the bottom of the page and click 'inschrijving verzenden' (send)
If all goes well, you'll see this screen:
For now, you'll have to wait - we will receive your application and need to activate your account first. When this is done, you'll receive an email and you can upload your works (click 'nieuw kunstwerk'), manage your uploaded works, manage your CV and personal information. Note that we need to activate new artworks as well, which will take a few days.
