Langdurige inspiratie put ik uit het Europese surrealisme en het Noordamerikaanse hyper- of fotorealisme. Ik houd me bezig met motieven van massacultuur en het typische conglomeraat van de westerse consumentensamenleving en een niet-Europese, vooral op oosterse wijsheid gebaseerde spiritualiteit. The ABC of post-war icons encompasses a series of painted portraits of those who have changed and continue to influence the course of life in many cultures around our planet.
