Death March Walked on 18 and 19 January 2005, 60 Years after the prisoners of Auschwitz were moved out of there. They were replaced to other camps, closer to Germany, because the Russians where closing in on the camps. Many people died in that march of starvation, cold and because of cruelties by German soldiers. The march was 63 kilometres long and from Auschwitz Birkenau to Wodzislaw.
