This painting was inspired by a Chinese relic - originally a bronze sculpture created more than 2200 years ago. This invaluable art object is named “Ma Ta Fei Yan” in Chinese, meaning “The horse stepped on a flying swallow”, to vividly reflect the horse’s power, speed and elegance.
