From the water reflection I am pursuit self reflection. The attribute of water is to flow and it always flows from a higher place to lower place. Therefore nature is contradicted without modesty. Also since it shows how it is displayed there is honesty in there. These are the reason why I like water and that is why I have chosen water for my subject matter. I want to be like water and once I am in front of it I think my mind gets freshed. When I am drawing the nature I choose the color more emotionally rather than just any color. I have drawn lots of scenes where they was water, but after I came to The Netherlands I have choose my direction. There are lots of canals in The Netherlands which naturally gave me the possibility to become close with it. Because of that I have discovered the reflection from the light on water, the quite wave from the winds, the reflection from the tree that makes a new shape. Also the reflection that made the scene look upside down look gorgeous but the way it gave me the opportunity to look at the world upside down gave me the enjoying feeling of this new work. Movements Of course there is a certain movement of time. Especially the moment and timeframe in the historical point of view does count very much. But also the movement or dynamics in the artwork self does reflect the use of the moment in the most precious way. As Vermeer seemed to have said,’ this light is once and for never again’ so lets paint. It was the movement of sixteenth chapel in Florence which makes the painting on the ceiling having another depth of Michelangelo’s paintwork. His moment was his point of view. And who looks closely will find many moving stories behind the visual effects. Movement becomes a deeper layer or understanding time in the work. The dynamic of technique but also the movement of the brush on the background of artwork. The movement of being is what does excel my work. Reflection Time and movement at the ends does reflection the state of being. The captures moment of life and work. It’s the reflection which expresses for the public the moment which the artist tried to capture in the moment of time. Its like to be touched by something bigger than all the knowledge we have. Like understanding life itself better or maybe more to be in the moment which some people call flow. Maybe it’s the moment of surrender towards the inner dynamics of the state of being. Like capturing the moment when you fall in love and understand the moment to be true never be again. Its out there but only for once.
